Soapstone Cookware Kalchatti Treated Traditional Stone Vessel

Soapstone Cookware Kalchatti Treated Traditional Stone Vessel

• Material: High-density soapstone, natural calcium & magnesium from Tamil Nadu. It contains no chemicals or coatings.
• Handcrafted Excellence: Hand-carved by artisan clusters in Tamil Nadu. Each Kalchatti is shaped by skilled rural artisans using traditional techniques, giving it excellent durability and a rustic finish.
• Treated Variant: Being treated means less initial seasoning, making this ready for cooking sooner and reducing the learning curve for new users.
• Sizes & Capacities: Multiple sizes available (capacity - 1 to 3.5 Litres). Since each piece is hand carved from a block of soapstone, variation in weight and dimension is normal.
• Compatibility: Works on gas burners and compatible cooking tops, designed for everyday cooking.
• Usage: Ideal for gravies, curries, greens, avial, sambar, and dishes requiring steady heat.
• Care Instructions: Because it is natural stone, avoid abrupt thermal shocks (e.g., adding cold liquid to hot stone) and follow care instructions for longevity.
